Dear Linda, Lawrence, Boys and all the animals and birds,
Thankyou for a fantastic week at the Granary. You are without doubt living everybody's dream. Set in idyllic countryside with the freedom to go where we pleased - we even managed to climb up to the
hill fort to view the wind turbines.
Your friendliness made everything feel so good. The ducks and cats came every day for their feed and collecting eggs direct from under the chickens was something special. I hope your owl is now much better! The lake is a fisherman's paradise.
This time we did the touristy bits - Portmeirion, Conwy Castle, Betws-y-Coed, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and climbing Snowdon but when we come again, which we will, we will totally chill out and explore more of your
lovely area. We may even try Tudor Cottage for its breathtaking views. We still cant believe how quiet the roads are compared to our hustle and bustle of East Kent. We even managed to finish the jig saw
puzzle which we left for your approval. Wishing you every success until we call again,
Best Regards, Mervyn and Susan, Dover, Kent
Dear Linda & Lawrence
Just to let you know that we enjoyed an absolutely fantastic weekend at Y Beudy. You have thought of everything (including truffles) and the accommodation and decor is superb - luxurious even!
We all thought the setting was absolutely idyllic and although we had planned to go out for meals etc. we loved the cottage so much that we just wanted to stay in for the evenings by that lovely fire!!
We were also able to go out for some good walks, without having to drive anywhere. We would all love to come back!!
Many thanks
Marian, John and friends
Better than home, not as many kids!!! Did exactly what I wanted to and that was chill, relax and sleep, have done plenty of all whilst boys became ‘countrified’, forget K Swiss and Lacoste, give them a
pair of wellies and they’re happy.
Have seen this cottage develop from the shell that it was 17 years ago and this is the 1st time we’ve stayed in it. It is so much more than I expected, Linda and Lawrence perfect landlords and the boys
are the ‘loveliest’; wonderfully refreshing for my 2 to spend so much time outside, ‘playing’ rather than on PS2s etc. How can it possibly fail to capture your heart and make you wish you could have
this forever, even a townie like me.

Dear Linda and Laurence,
I just wanted to say what a fabulous time we had staying in Granary Cottage. I only wish we could have stayed longer but unfortunately we had to come back to reality and work! The cottage was just
so cosy and homely in such an idyllic setting. Such a great place to get away from the city. We loved Trig the owl too! I am now trying to work out with Kris when we can get time off work next and
come again. Hopefully it won't be too long! Thank you.
Kind regards, LW. Dear Linda and family,
We're missing the Granary already! Thank you so much for a really beautiful and relaxing location...the renovation of the cottage is superb and really shows how much time you must have
taken. You have certainly thought about everyone's needs and provided a great range of facilities, including the scones on arrival! We do hope to return next year, possibly during the Autumn so that
we can light the odd fire. The Visitor's comments book all say the same thing - it is a delightful place and truly romantic and relaxing. (By the way we don't think a dishwasher is necessary - we washed
up together and talked to each other!!!)
Best wishes and continued success,
Claire and John Nurse Dear Linda and Lawrence,
First of all please wish Sam a very Happy Birthday from all of us,we hope he had a really good day.
Next, now I have had time to get everything sorted out and I am now feeling 100% we wanted to send you an e-mail to thank-you so much for the wonderful two weeks we have just spent in the cottage.
As I wrote in the visitors book we have never stayed anywhere like it. Everyone who I have shown my photos to have been very impressed by the high standard. Everything had been thought of
especially where the children were concerned....they loved the pool table as you probably gathered!!! It was lovely as well for your boys to be so friendly with Iain and Shaun. We have some
really good photos of them all and I will try and e-mail them through to you.We can easily see now why many people have returned and we all would love to visit again in the future.
Thank-you again for you kindness and hospiltality.
Debbie,Nigel, Iain and Shaun. Linda and Lawrence,
Just found 2 minutes, after a hectic return to work, to send you a note. Judy and I thought your cottage was one of the loveliest we've encountered - and we've seen a lot! - and certainly the best
view. Fantastic job with the renovation.
Thanks for the welcome and the scones, plus the eggs, of course. If you ever do an ad on the net or wherever, you can quote me!
We returned via the route to Wrexham, as you suggested and saw the most sensational scenery. Like being in North America! Much quicker, too. Good luck with the other cottage.
Martin and Judy Ward Hi Lawrence and Linda,
We meant to write in your visitors book before we left today however, what with throwing sticks for Max, finding out where Tibbs had hidden himself and looking around the Granary I forgot!
Thanks for such a lovely time. Tudur Cottage cannot be beaten for peace and quiet, its wonderful location and its beautiful interior all add up to a perfectly serene time. We both needed a break
from the hustle and bustle of our lives (not to mention some pretty horrible times we have had this year) and Tudur Cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Never before have I come across
a holiday home which was a home in every sense of the word. Before now, we have always raced to get out of the place we have stayed and to go visiting somewhere during the day. Not so with
Tudur Cottage!! We were so comfortable that just curling up on the sofa was the best way we could think of of spending the evening!!
Many thanks for such a lovely stay, we hope to see you again soon.
Mark and Tiffany, Hants Dear Lawrence and Linda,
As you know we recently arrived on your doorstep for the second time in as many months for a weekend break.
For me this was just what I needed. The views, the cottage with its wonderful feeling, the feeling of being AWAY from everything but not feeling cut off at all and the eggs!! I can't really find the right
words to describe how it makes me feel, but it feels right. The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful. You can tell how much work has gone into each room
making it the place it is, so much attention to detail. The views are breathtaking. Everything is just right. As you know we (or maybe just I) will be back as soon as I see there is a vacant space with the
bookings!!
Best wishes and kind regards
Susan and Joshua, Gloucestershire
Dear Lawrence, Linda & boys,
Just a quick not to say " a massive thankyou" for another great holiday in the cottage. This was our third visit and it gets better every time!
What we really like is the relaxing atmosphere everytime we stay and the superb hospitality afforded to us by you all.
The cottage is fantastic, the countryside beautifull and the settting perfect!.....see you again in March.
Warm regards
Colin and Yvonne, Wiltshire
