We had a lovely two nights away in this spectacular place! The cottage was lovely, and it had everything you need. The hot tub was a bonus. Will definitely be coming back!
Gwenllian Jones - January 2020
My partner and I visited Tudor cottage the day after getting married, it was the perfect place to come after a hectic few days for some peace and relaxation. Lawrence greeted us upon arrival and showed us round, he was friendly and informative and made us feel very welcome. The grounds are stunning with plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed going out each morning to collect eggs from the chickens for breakfast. The cottage itself was beautiful and we felt right at home. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need and we loved putting the log burner on each evening or taking the short walk to the hot tub to watch the sun set. I couldn't fault our stay and we will definitely return at some point as we miss being there already!

Thanks for the welcome
Just found 2 minutes, after a hectic return to work, to send you a note. Judy and I thought your cottage was one of the loveliest we’ve encountered - and we’ve seen a lot! - and certainly the best view. Fantastic job with the renovation.
Thanks for the welcome and the scones, plus the eggs, of course. If you ever do an ad on the net or wherever, you can quote me!
We returned via the route to Wrexham, as you suggested and saw the most sensational scenery. Like being in North America! Much quicker, too.
Good luck with the other cottage.

Better than home!
Better than home, not as many kids!!! Did exactly what I wanted to and that was chill, relax and sleep, have done plenty of all whilst boys became ‘countrified’, forget K Swiss and Lacoste, give them a pair of wellies and they’re happy.
Have seen this cottage develop from the shell that it was 17 years ago and this is the 1st time we’ve stayed in it. It is so much more than I expected, Linda and Lawrence perfect landlords and the boys are the ‘loveliest’; wonderfully refreshing for my 2 to spend so much time outside, ‘playing’ rather than on PS2s etc. How can it possibly fail to capture your heart and make you wish you could have this forever, even a townie like me.

We have never stayed anywhere like it!
First of all please wish Sam a very Happy Birthday from all of us,we hope he had a really good day.
Next, now I have had time to get everything sorted out and I am now feeling 100% we wanted to send you an e-mail to thank-you so much for the wonderful two weeks we have just spent in the cottage. As I wrote in the visitors book we have never stayed anywhere like it. Everyone who I have shown my photos to have been very impressed by the high standard. Everything had been thought of especially where the children were concerned… they loved the pool table as you probably gathered!!! It was lovely as well for your boys to be so friendly with Iain and Shaun. We have some really good photos of them all and I will try and e-mail them through to you.We can easily see now why many people have returned and we all would love to visit again in the future.
Thank-you again for you kindness and hospitality.

Everything is just right
As you know we recently arrived on your doorstep for the second time in as many months for a weekend break. For me this was just what I needed. The views, the cottage with its wonderful feeling, the feeling of being AWAY from everything but not feeling cut off at all and the eggs!! I can’t really find the right words to describe how it makes me feel, but it feels right. The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful. You can tell how much work has gone into each room making it the place it is, so much attention to detail. The views are breathtaking.
Everything is just right. As you know we (or maybe just I) will be back as soon as I see there is a vacant space with the bookings!!
Best wishes and kind regards
Susan and Joshua, Gloucestershire
I can not recommend Tudor Cottage enough
After staying in your cottages for the third time, I can not recommend enough the Cottages and the closeness of fantastic trails to any fellow mountain bikers. The friendly Llandelga 15 mins / The tiring Moel Famau near Ruthin 25 mins / The perfect Marin trail at Betws y Coed 20 mins / The awesome Coed y Brenin 30 min / and loads and loads of local trails to find and even the Goat pub 10 mins there, is worth a ride out for, thanks for the use of the jet wash it was needed.
Hopefully see you soon
